Dr. Emmanuel Agamloh brings industry experience to the Baylor Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from his 13-year stint as technical director of Advanced Energy’s motors and drives laboratory, where he was a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy, major research and development companies, large industrial companies and electric utilities.

Dr. Agamloh earned his bachelor of science and master of science degrees from St. Petersburg State Technical University in Russia and his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. His current research interests are in electric machines and drives, with a focus on industrial applications, electric transportation, renewable energy and naval and aerospace applications.

Dr. Agamloh and his wife, Jane, are blessed with two beautiful girls, Audrey, 14, and Rebecca, 10.

Dr. Lulin Jiang

Assistant Professor, ME

Dr. Lulin Jiang Assistant Professor, ME

Dr. Lulin Jiang brings more than 10 years of experience to Baylor’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining Baylor, she served at the University of Louisiana (UL) Lafayette as an assistant professor where she established the combustion laboratory.

Her research team is devoted in co-optimization of transformative atomization techniques and next-generation combustion and propulsion systems. They designed atomizers with ultra-fast and fine atomization, achieving clean and complete combustion of fossil and bio-fuels with distinct properties, potentially enabling near-zero-emission combustion with high fuel flexibility.

In addition to her passion for teaching and research, Dr. Jiang loves reading biblical books, watching funny movies, singing, cooking and traveling. She lives with her lovely husband, who walks together with her in Jesus Christ.

Dr. Min Pack

Assistant Professor, ME

Dr. Min Pack Assistant Professor, ME

Dr. Min Pack joined the Baylor Engineering and Computer Science faculty as an assistant professor of mechanical engineering. He previously worked with Dr. Howard Stone at Princeton University during his postdoctoral appointment.

Dr. Pack specializes in fluid mechanics, particularly experimental and theoretical work around interfacial phenomena involving multi-scale, multiphase flows surrounding 3D nano-printing to uncovering the physics of air entrainment under droplet impacts on lubricant-infused self-cleaning surfaces. Dr. Packis also invested in bioinspired fluid dynamics, colloidal transport mechanisms, thermal management, advanced manufacturing and humanitarian engineering.

Dr. Pack actively seeks to learn how to build a seamless connection intertwining faith, engineering research and education. He is also looking forward to opportunities to serve the Baylor community and participate in missions abroad.

Dr. Abhendra K. Singh

Assistant Professor, ME

Dr. Abhendra K. Singh Assistant Professor, ME

Dr. Abhendra K. Singh is a native of Fiji Islands and was a winner of the All University Doctoral Prize from Syracuse University in the year of his Ph.D. graduation from Syracuse in 2013.

Dr. Singh worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Pennsylvania State University and as a National Research Council (NRC) postdoctoral fellow with the Air Force Institute of Technology at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. His overall expertise is in a wide range of composite materials, and he is actively researching hybrid, multifunctional composites and ceramic matrix composites. Dr. Singh recently secured a short-term contract from Spirit Aerosystems to investigate damage resistance of oxide/oxide ceramic matrix composites in ambient and elevated temperature environments.

Dr. Singh is a member of the American Ceramics Society (ACS) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He has authored and co-authored a number of journal publications and conference proceedings.

Dr. Singh is married to Shanti Singh and has an eight-month-old daughter, Mahima Anaya Singh.
